Dreamer. Coach. Parent.
Welcome. I am the founder of MiniBasketballGuide.com.
I created this site driven by a simple yet profound belief: that the basketball court is one of the most powerful classrooms for a child’s development. My goal for this site is not just to provide lessons in skills or statistics, but to share with you a journey of character building, patience, and understanding the complex, beautiful relationship between sports and parenthood.
My Philosophy: From Personal Experience to a New Vision
My journey started with a personal void. Growing up, I didn’t always receive the guidance or find the environment necessary to nurture my own athletic passions; circumstances and a lack of early support meant those dreams remained unfulfilled. That experience planted a seed—a dream—within me.
Today, as a father of two, that dream has evolved. I realized that my role is not to impose those missed opportunities onto my children, but to create the environment that I once lacked. I started as a Dreamer, imagining a space where youth basketball could be free from the pressures of the past. I evolved into a Coach, observing the intricate dynamics of the game. And today, I stand primarily as a Parent, navigating the same challenges you face, striving to pass on the joy of the game to this generation in a way that is healthy, supportive, and truly empowering.
Why Trust My Perspective?
My vision is based on a unique blend of science and real-world experience:
Scientific Background: I approach my work with a professional background in Biochemistry, which gives me an analytical eye. I value logic, I understand deeply how systems grow and evolve, and I apply this rigor to ensure my advice is rooted in reality, not just wishful thinking.
Field Experience: My passion was forged in the field. Despite facing challenging circumstances, I have dedicated years to coaching children—from the age of six to over ten—showing them that sports are about more than just skills; they are about resilience. This hands-on experience has taught me how to bridge the gap between technical coaching and the emotional needs of young athletes.
Why MiniBasketballGuide?
I believe that the most important lessons in basketball happen off the court—in how we communicate, how we observe, and how we empower our children to find their own passion. This site is the bridge I have built between technical coaching and conscious parenting.
My goal is to provide a roadmap for parents who want to guide their children through sports with wisdom, humility, and a focus on long-term well-being rather than just short-term results.
I invite you to join me on this journey. Whether you are a parent looking for guidance or simply someone who believes in the power of sports to shape better humans, you are in the right place.
